ArKaos VJ is the dazzling fast software that will enable you to put out outstanding video shows in matter of seconds. Build a full performance using a few simple video loops from your hard drive by mixing and altering them using more than 100 real-time effects.

HW Mode : Get the best out of your graphic card
ArKaos VJ now takes advantage of graphic card acceleration through a brand new Hardware Accelerated video engine (the HW Mode) that is automatically enabled if your computer's graphic card supports it and produces an unprecedented visual smoothness and image quality.

So easy, yet so advanced
Advanced control on the movie playback is easily accessible through the Visual Info dialog box, enabling you to make a frame accurate selection of the part you want to play inside a video sequence as well as how you want to play it (forward / backward / loop, ...).

Tons of effects
Each of the effects in ArKaos VJ has changeable parameters, allowing infinite customization of each one. On top its 60+ original effects, ArKaos VJ supports additional FreeFrame effects (an open cross-platform real-time video effects plug in standard), it comes shipped with 42 pre-loaded FreeFrame effects and you can get many more on the web..

Finally, if you have Mac OSX "Tiger" and a graphic card supporting the HW Mode you can now use any of the 73 effects from Apple's Core Image library directly into ArKaos VJ and apply them to your visuals!

Mixing
Connect all your favorite video sources (USB / FireWire (web)cams, pre-recorded movie loops, video acquisition boards, ..) and display them live through ArKaos VJ with or without an effect. Use customizable Flash animations with editable text to display on-screen messages in just a few clicks. Combine effects and all these visual sources together with advanced transfer modes such as masks (Luma keying, Chroma keying,..) and copy modes (Addition, Substraction) to produce an infinite number of different display effects.

Your best performance
Thanks to the double monitoring management you can project your mix full screen for your audience while keeping an eye on the software interface and the preview window. Export your visual remix in 32bit colors high quality to a movie file in resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 px or record your live performance directly to DV through FireWire!
